Sharing

Remember the old saying "Sharing is Caring"?

Well we have done a bit of sharing in the last month or so.  Last month Jerry and I were asked to sit on a GPS panel night!  We had a great time with all the other families talking and adoption and our kids!  

I was also asked to write an article for the APAC newsletter!  We love APAC!  They have been a huge resource for us, and we have made such great friends there!  So of course I was honored to write it.  I wanted to share it with you as well.  Today I found out the newsletter is sent to over 20,000 families and workers!  WOW!

Birth Mother's Day!

The Saturday before Mother's Day is always remembered as Birth Mother's Day.  To most this is just another day.  The last few years this day has been important to us.  It is a day we have prayed for unknown women.  The birth mother of our child.  We didn't know if you were still together or if you were apart, but we prayed for you.  Even though there were terrible situations that resulted in you and your child not being together, we prayed for you.  Today I find myself praying again.  This time it is more emotional.  Today I know the name of the woman I am praying for.  Today I know part of the story that got us here, but I still pray for you.  I don't know where you are, but I am thankful you chose life and brought the sweet girl infront of me into this world.  You will always be mom.  You haven't been forgotten.

To all those moms who aren't with their children for whatever the reason, we remember you today!
